Overnight oats are a no-cook method of making oatmeal. Instead of cooking your oats with liquid on the stove or in the microwave, you mix oats with the liquid and other mix-ins, and let it rest in the fridge overnight.

Today, Neue will be showing you how simple it is to create your own overnight oats.

What you’ll need

1 cup rolled oats (not quick/instant oats)

1/2 cup Unsweetened Soy/Almond/Plain Milk

1 tablespoon of Chia Seeds

3-4 tablespoons Honey/Agave

1 Beetroots (Steamed, Juiced)

1/2 cup Coconut Milk

1/2 Red/White Dragonfruit

How to prepare it?

Step 1 – Place the rolled oats and chia seeds into a large bowl.

Step 2 – Peel and wedge one small beetroot. Then crush it using the mortar and pestle.

Step 3 – Sieve the beetroot juice and leave it to cool in the fridge.

Step 4 – Peel and cut the dragonfruit into cubes.

Step 5 – Add the almond milk, honey, coconut milk and beetroot juice into the bowl. Whisk to combine.

Step 6 – Transfer into a container/glass jar and top it with the cubed dragonfruit.
